Install
In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New, search for “LinkVault Connect” and click Install. It is free on WordPress.org.

Built with security in mind
The safest data is the data that never leaves. Most of what follows is about what the plugin does not do.
Only five fields leave
Name, short description, featured image, price and the product link. That is the whole payload.
Your orders stay yours
The plugin never reads an order, a customer record or a stock level. There is no code in it that could.
No secret to steal
A distributed plugin cannot keep a secret, so it does not hold one — the connection uses a public OAuth client with PKCE.
Signed responses
Licence replies are signed with Ed25519 and verified inside your store. A tampered reply is rejected, not believed.
Permission you grant once
You approve the connection yourself, and disconnecting it is one button in wp-admin.

Questions, answered honestly
Do I need a WooCommerce store?
Yes. This plugin is for merchants who already run WooCommerce. It reads the products you already have — there is nothing to re-enter and no second catalogue to keep in step.
Do I need a LinkVault account?
Yes — and a free one is enough. Connect is included on every LinkVault plan, the Free plan included, so you can install the plugin, sign up, connect your store and put products on your page without paying anything.
Does this replace WooCommerce?
No. WooCommerce stays in charge of everything that matters: your products, your stock, your orders, your checkout and your payment gateway. LinkVault shows the product and sends the customer to you.
Do I need to rebuild my website?
No. The plugin adds nothing to your storefront — it registers no front-end hooks at all, so your theme, your product pages and your checkout are exactly as they were. Everything it does happens in wp-admin and on LinkVault.
Does the plugin affect my existing checkout?
It cannot. LinkVault never takes a payment, never holds stock and has no checkout of its own. A customer who taps a product on your bio page lands on that product on your store and buys the way they always have.
Will it slow my store down?
No. The plugin never contacts LinkVault on a front-end page request. Nothing is sent when a shopper loads your shop, so your page speed does not depend on our servers being fast or even being up.
Can I uninstall the plugin?
Any time, and your store is untouched. Products already on your bio page keep showing what they last showed and simply stop updating. Nothing is deleted on either side.
What happens if my LinkVault plan expires?
Syncing stops — the connection is re-checked on every call, so a lapsed plan is refused at the next one rather than quietly kept in step. Nothing on your store changes, and reconnecting is a click once the plan is active again.
What data leaves my store?
Only the products you explicitly choose, and only five things about each: name, short description, featured image, price as your store formats it, and the link back to the product. Never your orders, your customers or your stock levels.
Is there a free version, and do I get updates?
The plugin itself is free and every feature in it works without a licence — automatic syncing included. Updates come through WordPress like any other plugin. What you pay for is your LinkVault plan.
