Law Enforcement Access Policy

LinkVault is committed to protecting the privacy, security, and rights of our users while complying with our legal obligations. This Law Enforcement Access Policy explains how LinkVault responds to requests from law enforcement agencies, courts, government authorities, and other entities with legal authority seeking access to user information.
This Policy applies to all LinkVault services, including:
- LinkVault Bio (app.linkvault.bio)
- LinkVault Marketplace (shop.linkvault.bio)
- LinkVault Authentication Services
- LinkVault APIs
- Mobile Applications
- Vendor Stores
- Customer Accounts
- Messaging Services
- Any current or future LinkVault products or services (collectively, the "Services").
1. Our Principles
When responding to legal requests, LinkVault is guided by the following principles:

Where legally required, LinkVault may disclose information such as:

- Account creation date
Login Information
- Login timestamps
- IP addresses
- Device information
- Authentication logs
Marketplace Information
- Vendor information
- Customer information
- Order history
- Transaction records
- Shipping details
- Payout records
Content
Where legally required, we may disclose content associated with an account, including:
- Product listings
- Bio page content
- Uploaded files
- Messages stored within LinkVault systems
- Support communications
- Account settings
Payment Information
Where available and legally required, we may disclose payment-related records maintained by LinkVault.
Sensitive payment credentials, such as full payment card numbers, are generally processed and stored by our payment service providers rather than LinkVault.
5. Information We May Not Have
LinkVault cannot disclose information that we do not collect or no longer retain.
For example, we may be unable to provide:
- Deleted information that is no longer retained.
- End-user device data not transmitted to LinkVault.
- Information exclusively held by third-party payment processors, shipping providers, or integrated services.
- Information that has been anonymized.
6. User Notification
Where permitted by law, LinkVault may notify affected users before disclosing their information.
We may delay or withhold notification where:
- Notification is prohibited by law.
- A court order restricts disclosure.
- Notification could interfere with an active investigation.
- Notification could present a risk to public safety.

7. Emergency Requests
In limited emergency situations involving an imminent risk of death, serious physical injury, or other immediate threats to public safety, LinkVault may disclose information without prior legal process where permitted by applicable law.
Emergency requests should clearly explain:
- The nature of the emergency.
- Why the request is urgent.
- The specific information requested.
- How the requested information will assist in addressing the emergency.
Each emergency request is evaluated individually.
8. International Requests
Requests originating outside the jurisdiction in which LinkVault operates may require additional legal procedures before information can be disclosed.
Where appropriate, we may require requests to be submitted through recognized international legal cooperation mechanisms or other applicable legal processes.
9. Data Preservation
Upon receipt of a valid preservation request, LinkVault may preserve certain account information for a limited period as required by applicable law or pending receipt of appropriate legal process.
Preservation of data does not constitute disclosure of that data.
10. Transparency
LinkVault believes users should understand how legal requests affect the platform.
Where legally permitted, aggregated information about government and law enforcement requests may be published in our Transparency Report.
Such reports may include:
- Number of requests received.
- Number of requests complied with.
- Number of requests rejected or narrowed.
- Types of requests received.
- Categories of information requested.
No Transparency Report will intentionally disclose confidential investigative information or personally identify affected users.
11. Protection Against Overbroad Requests
LinkVault is committed to protecting user privacy.
Where legally appropriate, we may:
- Request clarification.
- Narrow the scope of requests.
- Challenge requests we believe are unlawful.
- Reject requests lacking sufficient legal authority.
- Seek additional legal review before disclosure.
12. Data Security
Information disclosed pursuant to lawful requests is limited to the information required by applicable law and is handled using reasonable administrative and technical safeguards.
Internal access to user information is restricted to authorized personnel with a legitimate need to process the request.
13. Changes to This Policy
LinkVault may update this Law Enforcement Access Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology, or our Services.
Material changes may be communicated through our website, user dashboard, or other appropriate means.
Continued use of the Services after the effective date of any revised Policy constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Law enforcement agencies and other authorities seeking information from LinkVault should submit requests through our official legal contact channel, including sufficient documentation demonstrating legal authority.
Requests that are incomplete, improperly authorized, or inconsistent with applicable law may be delayed or declined until the necessary information is provided.
